Moira darling,
I bought this card at the Metropolitan Museum yesterday. I went on the spur of the moment with two of the trainees. I looked through the Early Medieval Section: at mosaic pictures of saints, old, stone-carved baptismal fonts, ivory altar pieces that tell stories from the life of Christ and beautiful, hand-woven altar cloths and chasubles.
Outside the Museum I bought some roasted chestnuts. But they used to taste better when I was little.
You talked so clearly and nicely on the tape! And you sounded so well! That makes me very happy. Love, ~Mother
